PO House: A One-Stop Shop for Slow Fashion, Clean Skincare and Vegan Bubble Tea in Hong Kong
Why have bubble tea when you can have PO Mylk Tea?
With a mission to build a global community of eco-conscious consumers, PO House is proof that you don’t need to sacrifice style for sustainability.
From plant-based restaurants to zero waste stores, Hong Kong has seen a growing demand for sustainable consumerism. As consumers are becoming increasingly aware of the impact of consumption on the environment, fashion, beauty and F&B brands are looking for new ways to reduce waste and carbon footprint with eco-friendly alternatives.
Making its debut in Hong Kong, sustainable lifestyle platform PO House is launching a selection of purposeful brands and products, including a clean skincare brand, a slow fashion label and a vegan bubble tea purveyor, to cultivate a conscious, mindful shopping experience.
A healthy take on bubble tea, Mother Pearl offers a range of tea-based beverages with handcrafted, nutritious ingredients serving as substitutes for high-carb tapioca pearls and refined sugar.
With the concept development overseen by plant-based chef Peggy Chan (who’s also a columnist of AsiaSpa Magazine and judge of AsiaSpa Awards), the grab ‘n’ go outlet is spurring a new tea revolution with house-blended 100% vegan “mylks”, including gluten-free options like oat milk, almond milk and even hemp seed milk.
Bored of fruit and vegetable juices? The bubble tea purveyor gets creative with superfoods like chia, activated coal, turmeric, konnyaku, acai and moringa to curate beverages that not only taste good but also deliver guilt-free pleasure. Can’t get enough of their delicious offerings? Tea devotees will be pleased to know that Mother Pearl also serves a thoughtful selection of nutrient-rich snacks—think matcha granola bars, spinach and lentil empanadas, triple chocolate chia pudding and chewy double fudge chocolate cookies.
